Tauros in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Paldean Breeds & How to Get
Tauros comes in four flavours in Pokemon Champions — the original Normal type plus the Paldean Combat (Fighting), Blaze (Fighting/Fire) and Aqua (Fighting/Water) breeds — and every one of them carries Intimidate. That makes Tauros a flexible offensive Intimidate user with a fast 100+ Speed and a strong physical movepool. Base Stats
The Kanto form is the fastest (110 Speed) and most physically balanced; the three Paldean breeds trade a little Speed for slightly higher Attack and Defense (110/105) and bring their own STAB typing. All sit at 490 BST with a useful 75/95+/70 frame.

Abilities
- Intimidate — lowers both opponents' Attack on entry; the common thread across every Tauros form and its biggest selling point.
- Anger Point — maxes Attack if critically hit.
- Sheer Force (Kanto) / Cud Chew (Paldean) — power boost on secondary-effect moves, or re-eat a Berry.
Best Moveset
Intimidate physical attacker
- Close Combat — Fighting STAB for the Paldean breeds (coverage for Kanto).
- Double-Edge / Body Slam — Normal STAB for Kanto Tauros.
- Stone Edge / Earthquake — coverage.
- Protect — staple. Blaze adds Fire moves (Flare Blitz), Aqua adds Water moves (Wave Crash).
All forms can run Throat Chop, Iron Head and Tera Blast.
Suggested SP Spread
With the SP system, any Tauros form wants Attack and Speed with an offensive Stat Alignment. Intimidate already softens physical hits, so leaning offensive maximises its pressure. Tune it in the team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Tauros is an offensive Intimidate user with options. The Kanto form is fast and spammable; the Paldean breeds bring real STAB — Combat for raw Fighting power, Blaze for Fire coverage, and Aqua for Water coverage — while keeping the same Intimidate support. Switching any Tauros in chips both opposing attackers, and it threatens back immediately with high-power physical moves. A solid, adaptable pick for offense and balance teams.
Evolution Line
Tauros does not evolve. Its Paldean Combat, Blaze and Aqua breeds are distinct regional forms rather than evolutions.

- Roster Ranch recruitment — available during the Regulation M-A season (around April–June 2026); permanently recruitable with Teammate Tickets.
- Transfer via Pokemon HOME — move a Tauros (Kanto or a Paldean breed) from another title into Pokemon Champions.
