What we build

PikaChampions started as a single tool — a team builder that actually understood the Pokemon Champions roster, the SP training system, and the game's exclusive Mega Evolutions. It has since grown into a full strategy hub. Everything on the Site is free to use.

Who we are

PikaChampions is built and maintained by Brakkalib and Combojin — two long-time competitive Pokemon players who wanted a Champions-specific tool that didn't exist yet, so we made one. We play the format ourselves, which is why the tool and the guides focus on what actually matters at the team-preview screen rather than theory for its own sake.

How our guides are made

Every guide on PikaChampions is written specifically for the current Regulation M-A format. We aim to be accurate and practical:

• Format-specific. We write for the 6-pick-4 doubles ruleset and the 263-Pokémon legal list — not generic singles advice.
• Grounded in the tool. Stat spreads, speed tiers, and coverage recommendations are checked against the same data that powers the builder.
• Kept current. As the meta shifts, we revisit tier lists, item rankings, and archetype guides and update the "last updated" dates.
• Honest about uncertainty. Where the meta is unsettled, we say so rather than presenting opinion as fact.

Our independence

PikaChampions is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon names and images are the property of their respective owners. The Site is funded by advertising so that it can stay free to use — see our Privacy Policy for how that works.
