Sylveon in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Sylveon is a premier special attacker and support pivot in Pokemon Champions, fusing 110 Special Attack with a wall-tier 95/130 special bulk. Pixilate turns Hyper Voice into a brutal Fairy-type spread move, one of the most reliable damage buttons in doubles. This guide covers Sylveon's stats, type matchups, best moves, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Sylveon's calling card is the pairing of 110 Special Attack with a colossal 130 Special Defense and 95 HP — it hits hard and shrugs off special attacks at the same time. Physical defense (65) and Speed (60) are the soft spots, so it prefers to operate behind Tailwind or Trick Room rather than win speed ties, and it dislikes strong physical Steel- and Poison-types.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sylveon | 95 | 65 | 65 | 110 | 130 | 60 | 525 |
Type Matchups
Abilities
- Pixilate — turns Normal-type moves into Fairy moves with a 20% power boost. This is the build-around: Hyper Voice becomes a powerful Fairy STAB that hits both opponents and is the core of nearly every Sylveon set.
- Cute Charm — 30% chance to infatuate an attacker on contact; a niche, unreliable alternative almost never run over Pixilate.
Best Moveset
Sylveon wants Pixilate spread damage plus support. For Regulation M-A doubles:
Pixilate spread attacker
- Hyper Voice — the signature move; Pixilate makes it a strong Fairy spread attack hitting both opponents.
- Moonblast — single-target Fairy STAB for when you need to focus one threat.
- Psyshock or Shadow Ball — coverage for the Poison- and Steel-types that resist Fairy.
- Protect — doubles staple, essential for such a slow attacker.
Bulky support
- Helping Hand — boost a partner's attack; leverages Sylveon's bulk to stay in and support.
- Calm Mind — turn its great special bulk into a snowballing win condition.
- Light Screen / Reflect — screens off its excellent natural bulk for the whole team.
It also carries Dazzling Gleam (extra Fairy spread), Stored Power (pairs with Calm Mind), and Substitute.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Sylveon wants Special Attack and HP to back up its already-huge Special Defense, with a SpA- or HP-boosting Stat Alignment; a touch of physical bulk patches its weaker side. Lower Speed if you commit to Trick Room. Confirm the Level 50 spread in the team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Sylveon is one of the most dependable spread attackers in the format. Pixilate Hyper Voice chips both opponents every turn and pressures any team without a Steel or Poison answer, while 95/130 special bulk lets it sit on the field and keep clicking it. That same bulk makes it a fine support body for Helping Hand, screens, or a Calm Mind sweep. Its weaknesses are practical rather than theoretical: 60 Speed means it usually moves last without Tailwind or Trick Room, and physical Steel-types punch through its weaker physical defense. Behind speed control it becomes a relentless source of damage and team support.
Evolution Line
Eevee → Sylveon (level up with high friendship while knowing a Fairy-type move, such as Baby-Doll Eyes). Sylveon does not Mega Evolve.
