Slowking in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Galarian Form & How to Get
Slowking is a bulky special pivot in Pokemon Champions built around Regenerator and a dead-slow 30 Speed that loves Trick Room. The Galarian form switches to Poison/Psychic with Curious Medicine and a more offensive bent. This guide covers both forms, plus stats, matchups, best moveset, an SP spread and how to get it.
Base Stats
Both forms share 95 HP, 110 Special Defense and 30 Speed. Standard Slowking is Water/Psychic and leans supportive; Galarian Slowking is Poison/Psychic with slightly higher Special Attack and a more offensive identity. The low Speed makes either a natural Trick Room attacker.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Abilities
- Regenerator — restores a third of its HP on switch-out, making either form a tireless pivot.
- Own Tempo — immunity to confusion.
- Curious Medicine (Galarian) — resets allies' stat changes on switch-in (situational utility).
Best Moveset
Bulky special support / Trick Room
- Scald / Psychic — STAB (Galarian uses Sludge Bomb + Psychic).
- Trick Room — set the room for slow attackers.
- Nasty Plot — boost for an offensive set (especially Galarian).
- Slack Off or Protect — recovery or safety.
It also has Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunder Wave and screens.
Suggested SP Spread
With the SP system, Slowking wants HP and Special Defense with a slow Stat Alignment for a Trick Room support build; Galarian Slowking can invest in Special Attack for a Nasty Plot set. Tune it in the team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Slowking is a bulky special pivot and Trick Room enabler. Regenerator lets it cycle in and out repeatedly, setting Trick Room, throwing out status, and supporting partners, while Galarian Slowking leans offensive with Nasty Plot and Poison STAB. Slow and durable, it is a natural fit for Trick Room and bulky balance cores.
Evolution Line
Slowpoke → Slowking (trade holding a King's Rock). Galarian Slowking comes from a Galarian Slowpoke (using a Galarica Wreath). Slowking does not Mega Evolve.
How to Get Slowking in Pokemon Champions

- Roster Ranch recruitment — available during the Regulation M-A season (around April–June 2026); permanently recruitable with Teammate Tickets.
