Simipour in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Simipour is the Water member of the elemental-monkey trio in Pokemon Champions. It shares the trio's fast, fragile frame, but its deep Water-plus-Ice movepool — Surf, Ice Beam, Blizzard and Icy Wind — gives it the widest coverage and the most useful support tool of the three. This guide covers Simipour's stats, type matchups, best moves, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Simipour shares the trio's stat line: 75/63/63 bulk, 101 Speed, and matched 98 offenses. Its special side is the natural home given Surf, Ice Beam and Blizzard, but Icy Wind makes it more than a plain attacker — it can chip both opponents and drop their Speed while leaning on its own respectable 101.

| Simipour | 75 | 98 | 63 | 98 | 63 | 101 | 498 |
Type Matchups
Abilities
- Gluttony — triggers a held Berry at half HP rather than a quarter. Squeezes extra mileage out of a pinch Berry on a frail body.
- Torrent — boosts Water moves by 50% once HP falls below a third. A passive comeback bonus, not a build-around.
Best Moveset
Simipour's Water/Ice coverage and Icy Wind support set it apart from its siblings. For Regulation M-A doubles:
Spread support attacker
- Surf — spread Water STAB that hits both opponents.
- Icy Wind — spread Ice damage that also drops both opponents' Speed; excellent doubles glue.
- Ice Beam or Blizzard — single-target Ice for Dragon, Grass and Flying targets (Scald/Surf cover the rest).
- Protect — doubles staple for scouting and surviving spread turns.
Single-target / physical flex
- Scald — single-target Water STAB with a burn chance.
- Ice Punch — physical Ice coverage off its equal 98 Attack.
- Focus Blast or Superpower — Fighting coverage for the Water-resistant walls.
- Helping Hand — support a partner on turns when Simipour isn't attacking.
Other tools include Gunk Shot, Rock Slide, Power-Up Punch, Knock Off, Throat Chop, Taunt and Substitute.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Simipour wants Special Attack and Speed with a Special-Attack-boosting Stat Alignment, since Surf, Ice Beam and Icy Wind all run off Special Attack. Its 75/63/63 bulk is too thin to invest in, so commit fully to offense and Speed. Confirm the numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Simipour is the most well-rounded of the three monkeys thanks to its movepool. Icy Wind gives it a genuine doubles job — speed control plus chip damage on both opponents — that Simisage and Simisear can't replicate, and its Water/Ice combination covers a huge swath of the type chart between Surf and Ice Beam. It is still a fragile attacker that folds to a single neutral hit, so it works best as a fast support piece on Tailwind or rain-flavoured teams rather than a primary win condition. If you want one elemental monkey for competitive play, Simipour's coverage and Icy Wind make it the pick.
