With the SP system, Politoed wants HP and bulk with a defensive Stat Alignment so it survives to keep rain active and support its team. Tune it in the team builder.

Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Politoed is the backbone of rain teams. Drizzle instantly powers up rain abusers like Swift Swim sweepers and rain-boosted Water spam, while Politoed itself supports with Helping Hand, Encore and spread Surf. It is not a big threat alone, but as a weather setter and bulky supporter it defines an entire archetype.

How to Get Politoed in Pokemon Champions

• Evolve Poliwhirl — trade Poliwhirl while it holds a King's Rock to get Politoed.
• Roster Ranch recruitment — available during the Regulation M-A season (around April–June 2026); permanently recruitable with Teammate Tickets.
• Transfer via Pokemon HOME — move a Politoed from another title into Pokemon Champions.
