Meganium in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Mega, Moveset & How to Get
Meganium is a defensively-minded Grass starter in Pokemon Champions, and one of the game's standout custom Megas. The base form is a bulky supporter with Leech Seed and screens, while the Champions-exclusive Mega Meganium becomes Grass/Fairy with the signature Mega Sol ability and a big 143 Special Attack. This guide covers its stats, matchups, best moveset, an SP spread and how to get it.
Base Stats
Base Meganium has even 100/100 defenses and supportive tools but limited offense. Mega Meganium keeps that bulk (115/115) and jumps to 143 Special Attack, while the new Grass/Fairy typing reshapes its matchups — gaining a Fairy STAB and a Dragon immunity.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |

Type Matchups
Abilities
- Overgrow (Meganium) — boosts Grass moves at low HP.
- Leaf Guard (Meganium) — prevents status in sun.
- Mega Sol (Mega Meganium) — the form's exclusive Champions-original signature ability.
Best Moveset
Bulky support / Mega attacker
- Leech Seed — chip and recovery for a defensive set.
- Energy Ball / Giga Drain — Grass STAB (Mega Meganium adds Dazzling Gleam / Moonblast-style Fairy options).
- Synthesis — recovery.
- Light Screen / Reflect / Helping Hand — team support.
It can also run Grassy Glide, Knock Off and Swords Dance.
Suggested SP Spread
With the SP system, base Meganium wants HP and a defense with a bulky Stat Alignment for support duty; Mega Meganium can invest in Special Attack and Special Defense to act as a bulky Grass/Fairy attacker. Tune it in the team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Meganium is a bulky support and pivot. The base form spreads Leech Seed, sets screens and supports partners with Helping Hand, leaning on its even defenses to stay in play. Mega Meganium turns that durability into offense, using its Grass/Fairy typing and 143 Special Attack to threaten Dragons and Dark types while remaining hard to break. A solid glue Pokemon for balance teams.
Evolution Line
Chikorita → Bayleef → Meganium (Level 32). Meganium Mega Evolves with Meganite.
