Glaceon in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Glaceon is the special Ice-type Eeveelution in Pokemon Champions, hitting hard off a 130 Special Attack and walling special hits with 110 Defense and 95 Special Defense. It thrives on snow teams, where Snow Cloak and Aurora Veil support let it fire off boosted Blizzards. This guide covers Glaceon's stats, type matchups, best moveset, an SP spread, its doubles role, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Glaceon hits hard with 130 Special Attack and is genuinely tanky, with 110 Defense and 95 Special Defense backing a slim 65 HP. The catch is a mediocre 65 Speed, so it usually wants snow-based support, Trick Room, or a Tailwind partner to function. Its 60 Attack means it is a pure special attacker.

Type Matchups
Abilities
- Snow Cloak — raises evasion in snow. Fits its preferred snow archetype but is an unreliable, luck-based ability.
- Ice Body — restores HP each turn in snow, giving Glaceon passive longevity on a dedicated hail/snow team.
Best Moveset
Glaceon's job is to throw out powerful Ice STAB. For Regulation M-A doubles:
Snow attacker
- Blizzard — spread Ice STAB that never misses in snow; the centrepiece move on a snow team.
- Freeze-Dry — single-target Ice that hits Water-types super-effectively, a huge perk against bulky Waters.
- Aurora Veil — set in snow to halve incoming physical and special damage for the whole team (Glaceon's bulk lets it pull this off safely).
- Protect — doubles staple for scouting and stalling.
Coverage
- Ice Beam — reliable single-target STAB outside snow.
- Shadow Ball — hits Psychic and Ghost switch-ins.
- Calm Mind — boost Special Attack and Special Defense for a bulky setup look.
It also carries Ice Shard for priority, Icy Wind for spread speed control, Helping Hand and Tera Blast.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Glaceon wants Special Attack and either Speed (to ease its 65 base) or HP for a bulkier Aurora Veil setter, with a matching Stat Alignment. Tune the final Level 50 numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Glaceon is a hard-hitting special attacker and Aurora Veil setter for snow teams. Its standout trait is Freeze-Dry, which flips the usual Ice-versus-Water matchup and lets Glaceon punish the bulky Water-types that normally laugh at Ice attacks. In snow, Blizzard becomes a perfect-accuracy spread move and Aurora Veil shores up Glaceon's frailer HP and the whole team's defenses. Its low Speed is the main liability, so it appreciates Tailwind, Icy Wind, or Trick Room support to make sure it gets its hits in before going down.
Evolution Line
Eevee → Glaceon (using an Ice Stone). Glaceon does not Mega Evolve.
