Florges in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Florges is the fully evolved bloom of the Flabébé line in Pokemon Champions, a pure Fairy-type whose calling card is a colossal 154 Special Defense. Backed by 112 Special Attack, it plays as a sturdy special pivot and Calm Mind threat that shrugs off other special attackers while dishing out boosted Moonblasts. This guide covers Florges's stats, type matchups, best moveset, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Florges is defined by its 154 Special Defense — one of the highest in the format — paired with a strong 112 Special Attack. Its physical defense (68) and HP (78) are unremarkable, so it is far harder to break on the special side than the physical. With 75 Speed it is middling, leaning on its bulk to set up rather than racing the field.
| Form | HP | Atk | Def | SpA | SpD | Spe | BST |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Florges | 78 | 65 | 68 | 112 | 154 | 75 | 552 |
Type Matchups
Abilities
- Flower Veil — prevents stat drops and status on allied Grass-types; mostly situational.
- Symbiosis — passes its held item to an ally that consumes theirs, enabling Berry- or Gem-passing support plays in doubles.
Best Moveset
Florges is a bulky special attacker that can sit and grow:
Bulky Calm Mind
- Moonblast — its main Fairy STAB; with Calm Mind boosts it becomes very hard to switch into.
- Calm Mind — stacks Special Attack and Special Defense, leaning into its already-elite special bulk.
- Synthesis — recovery to outlast attackers while it boosts.
- Protect — doubles staple for stalling and scouting.
Support variant
- Dazzling Gleam — spread Fairy STAB hitting both opponents.
- Helping Hand + Light Screen — boost a partner and cut special damage for the team.
- Energy Ball — coverage for Steel and Poison answers.
Other tools include Giga Drain, Stored Power (strong after Calm Mind), Psychic, Defog, Substitute and Tera Blast.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Florges wants HP and Special Attack so it can both tank and threaten, with a defensive Stat Alignment that protects its bulk; a dedicated Calm Mind set can bank more into HP and Special Defense to become nearly unbreakable specially. Set the exact Level 50 numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Florges is a specially defensive anchor and Calm Mind win condition in Regulation M-A doubles. Its 154 Special Defense lets it stonewall the format's special attackers, while Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam give it relevant Fairy STAB that checks Dragon, Dark and Fighting threats. Calm Mind plus Synthesis turns it into a slow-rolling sweeper that becomes harder to break every turn, and Helping Hand / Light Screen give it a genuine support fallback. It is checked mainly by Steel and Poison types that resist Fairy and by strong physical attackers that bypass its lopsided defenses.
Evolution Line
Flabébé → Floette (Level 19) → Florges (use a Shiny Stone). Florges does not Mega Evolve.
