Drampa in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Mega Drampa & How to Get

Drampa is a heavy-hitting special attacker in Pokemon Champions with a huge 135 Special Attack, a glacial 36 Speed and the Berserk ability that rewards taking chip damage. Its Champions-original Mega Drampa pushes Special Attack to 160 and shores up its bulk while keeping that low Speed perfect for Trick Room. This guide covers both forms, stats, type matchups, best moveset, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.

Base Stats

Drampa's calling card is its offense: 135 Special Attack on the base form, climbing to a colossal 160 on Mega Drampa, which also lifts Defense to 110 and Special Defense to 116. The 36 Speed is among the slowest in the format — a liability under normal conditions but ideal for Trick Room — and Mega Drampa keeps that exact Speed, so the room is its natural home either way.

Abilities

  • Berserk (Drampa & Mega Drampa) — when an attack drops Drampa below half HP, its Special Attack rises one stage. It turns the chip it inevitably takes at its low Speed into extra power, snowballing nicely behind Trick Room.
  • Sap Sipper (Drampa) — absorbs Grass moves and raises Attack; a useful matchup pick into Grass spam, though Drampa is a special attacker.
  • Cloud Nine (Drampa) — negates all weather effects while it is on the field, handy against rain, sun and sand teams.

Best Moveset

Drampa has a deep special movepool and loves clicking spread moves under Trick Room. The standout doubles options are:

Trick Room nuke

  • Hyper Voice — spread Normal STAB that hits both opponents; superb in doubles.
  • Draco Meteor or Dragon Pulse — Dragon STAB; Draco Meteor for the nuke, Dragon Pulse for repeatable damage.
  • Heat Wave — spread Fire coverage for Steel- and Grass-types.
  • Protect — survive while a teammate sets Trick Room.

Coverage & support

  • Ice Beam / Blizzard — hits Dragons and Ground/Flying threats.
  • Thunderbolt / Thunder — coverage into bulky Water-types.
  • Tailwind, Icy Wind or Thunder Wave — speed control and disruption to offset its own Speed.
  • Roost — recovery to abuse Berserk reads and stay healthy.

It can also run Calm Mind, Hurricane, Focus Blast, Defog and Tera Blast.

Suggested SP Spread

With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Drampa wants max Special Attack and then bulk (HP and Special Defense) so it survives long enough to fire under Trick Room and to trigger Berserk on its own terms; a slow defensive Stat Alignment (lowering Speed) suits the Trick Room plan. Mega Drampa appreciates the same investment with even more bulk to spare. Tune the Level 50 numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.

Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Drampa is a Trick Room wallbreaker. Its 36 Speed makes it one of the fastest things on the field once the room is up, and Hyper Voice plus Draco Meteor lets it threaten the whole opposing side in a single turn. Berserk turns the damage it soaks while setting up into a free Special Attack boost, and Mega Drampa's 160 Special Attack with much sturdier 110/116 defenses makes it a genuine room-mode nuke that is also hard to revenge with chip. Outside Trick Room it is exploitable — slow, with shaky Special Defense before investment — so it leans on a dedicated room setter and redirection partners. Cloud Nine on the non-Mega gives a niche anti-weather option for the right matchup.

Evolution Line

Drampa does not evolve — it is a standalone single-stage Pokemon. In Pokemon Champions it gains a Champions-original Mega Evolution, Mega Drampa, while holding its Mega Stone (Drampite); the Mega keeps Drampa's Normal/Dragon typing and the Berserk ability.
