Base Stats

Base Delphox already has a fast 104 Speed and a strong 114 Special Attack on a frail 75/72/100 frame. Mega Delphox is a major upgrade: 159 Special Attack, 125 Special Defense and a blistering 134 Speed turn it into a near-unmatched fast nuke. The physical side stays weak, so it still folds to priority and physical pressure — speed and power are the whole point.

Abilities

• Magician (Delphox) — steals the held item of a target it hits with a move; situational disruption.
• Blaze (Delphox) — boosts Fire moves by 50% below one-third HP; a passive pinch bonus.
• Levitate (Mega Delphox) — immunity to Ground moves, including spread Earthquake. For a frail special attacker that wants to stand next to its partner, dodging Earthquake entirely is a real defensive perk on top of the offensive boost.

Best Moveset

Delphox is a glass-cannon special attacker with light support flexibility. Its best doubles options:

Fast special attacker (Mega Delphox)

• Heat Wave — spread Fire STAB hitting both opponents; Flamethrower or Fire Blast for single-target power.
• Expanding Force or Psychic — Psychic STAB; Expanding Force becomes a spread move and gains power under Psychic Terrain.
• Dazzling Gleam — spread Fairy coverage for the Dark and Dragon types that resist its STABs.
• Protect — essential safety for such a fragile attacker.

Calm Mind / utility

• Calm Mind — boost Special Attack and Special Defense into a sweep.
• Trick Room — Delphox can set the room for slower teammates if it isn't the one attacking.
• Will-O-Wisp or Encore — disruption that lets it support as well as attack.

Other tools include Psyshock, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, Nasty Plot, Helping Hand and Tera Blast.

Suggested SP Spread

With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Mega Delphox maxes Special Attack and Speed to make full use of its 134 base Speed, with an offensive Stat Alignment. Because it is so frail, any spare points are best left in Speed rather than chasing bulk it can't reach. Tune the final numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.

Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Mega Delphox is a fast special nuke. At 134 Speed and 159 Special Attack it outpaces and threatens to OHKO or 2HKO a huge slice of the field with spread Heat Wave, and Levitate lets it ignore the Earthquake support its partner might be clicking. Expanding Force gives it a second spread option, especially alongside a Psychic Terrain setter. The downside is fragility — physical priority like Extreme Speed or Sucker Punch, and any chip, can revenge it, so it leans on redirection, Tailwind and screens to stay alive long enough to fire. As a clean, fast offensive piece for hyper-offense or Tailwind teams in Regulation M-A, it hits a tier few specials reach.

Fennekin → Braixen (Level 16) → Delphox (Level 36). Delphox Mega Evolves by holding Delphoxite.

How to Get Delphox in Pokemon Champions

• Evolve Fennekin — raise Fennekin to Braixen at Level 16, then to Delphox at Level 36.
• Roster Ranch recruitment — available during the Regulation M-A season (around April–June 2026); permanently recruitable with Teammate Tickets.
• Transfer via Pokemon HOME — move a Delphox from another title into Pokemon Champions.
