Corviknight in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get

Corviknight is a premier defensive pivot in Pokemon Champions, built around a 98/105/85 bulk core, a clean Flying/Steel typing and the disruption-proofing of Mirror Armor. It pivots with U-turn, sets Tailwind, and laughs off Intimidate. This guide covers Corviknight's stats, type matchups, best moveset, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.

Base Stats

Corviknight is all about bulk and utility: 98 HP, 105 Defense and 85 Special Defense make it tanky on both sides, while 87 Attack is enough to make Brave Bird and Iron Head sting. Its 67 Speed is slow, and 53 Special Attack is negligible, so it operates as a defensive pivot and support piece rather than an attacker.

Abilities

  • Mirror Armor — reflects stat-lowering effects back at the user. Intimidate, Snarl, Icy Wind, Sticky Web and the like bounce off Corviknight onto whoever caused them — a huge edge in an Intimidate-heavy doubles format.
  • Pressure — opponents lose an extra PP each time they hit Corviknight; minor in best-of formats but a clean default.
  • Unnerve — prevents opposing Pokemon from eating their Berries (situational).

Best Moveset

Corviknight's role is support and pivoting, with just enough offense to threaten. The standout doubles options are:

Bulky support pivot

  • Brave Bird — its main STAB and reliable damage despite the recoil.
  • U-turn — pivot out to grab momentum and bring in a check safely.
  • Tailwind — doubles its team's Speed for several turns; one of its best support tools.
  • Protect — scout and stall while a teammate operates.

Screens / disruption

  • Reflect + Light Screen — dual screens off its excellent bulk.
  • Iron Head or Flash Cannon — Steel STAB to punish Fairy- and Rock-types.
  • Taunt — shut down opposing Trick Room, screens and setup.
  • Bulk Up or Iron Defense — turn it into a slow win condition.

It can also run Air Slash, Hurricane, Substitute and Tera Blast.

Suggested SP Spread

With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Corviknight wants its bulk maximised — heavy HP, then split into Defense or Special Defense depending on the threats you fear — with a defensive Stat Alignment (lower the unused Special Attack). A more offensive Bulk Up set can put points into Attack instead. Dial it in with the PikaChampions team builder.

Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Corviknight is a defensive glue Pokemon. Mirror Armor makes it the single best Intimidate counter in the format — drop its Attack and the cut bounces back, so Intimidate-pivot teams actively dislike clicking their ability into it. On top of that it brings Tailwind for speed control, U-turn for momentum, and dual screens, all backed by 98/105/85 bulk that shrugs off neutral hits. Its Flying/Steel typing resists a wide swath of the metagame, and its only real concern is the Fire, Electric and (4x) Rock damage it has to play around. It does little damage itself, so it works best as the supportive backbone behind a pair of attackers rather than a standalone threat.

Evolution Line

Rookidee → Corvisquire (Level 18) → Corviknight (Level 38). Corviknight does not Mega Evolve.
