Clefable in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Mega, Moveset & How to Get

Clefable is one of the most flexible support Pokemon in Pokemon Champions. The base form offers Follow Me redirection, reliable recovery and the choice of Magic Guard or Unaware, while the Champions-exclusive Mega Clefable becomes Fairy/Flying with Magic Bounce and a strong 135 Special Attack. This guide covers both, plus stats, matchups, best moveset, an SP spread and how to get it.

Base Stats

Base Clefable's 95 HP and even defenses make it a sturdy support. Mega Clefable keeps that bulk (95/93/110) and adds 135 Special Attack — but note it becomes Fairy/Flying, which changes its matchups significantly.

Type Matchups

Weak to: Poison Steel
Resists: Fighting Bug Dark
Immune to: Dragon
The matchups below are for the base Fairy form (weak only to Poison and Steel, immune to Dragon). Mega Clefable is Fairy/Flying: it gains an immunity to Ground and double-resists Fighting and Bug, but picks up new weaknesses to Electric, Ice and Rock alongside Poison and Steel.

Abilities

  • Magic Guard (Clefable) — blocks all indirect damage (poison, burn, hazards, weather). Excellent for a durable support that never gets chipped.
  • Unaware (Clefable) — ignores opponents' stat boosts, hard-walling setup sweepers.
  • Cute Charm (Clefable) — minor contact-infatuation chance.
  • Magic Bounce (Mega Clefable) — reflects status moves and hazards back at the user, shutting down Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Spore and entry hazards.

Best Moveset

Support / redirection (base)

  • Follow Me — redirect attacks away from a fragile partner.
  • Helping Hand — boost a partner's damage.
  • Moonblast — Fairy STAB.
  • Protect or Softboiled — safety or recovery.

Mega attacker

  • Moonblast + Dazzling Gleam — single and spread Fairy STAB.
  • Calm Mind — snowball Special Attack and Special Defense behind Magic Bounce.
  • Flamethrower or Ice Beam — coverage.

Suggested SP Spread

With the SP system, base Clefable wants HP and a defense with a bulky Stat Alignment to maximise its support longevity. Mega Clefable can shift toward Special Attack and Special Defense for a Calm Mind set. Tune it in the team builder.

Competitive Role in Regulation M-A

Base Clefable is a premier glue Pokemon: Follow Me plus Helping Hand actively enables a partner, while Magic Guard or Unaware give it a defensive identity that few supports match. Mega Clefable trades the redirection package for a self-sufficient Magic Bounce attacker that punishes status- and hazard-reliant teams and can sweep with Calm Mind. Choose the base form for support, the Mega for offense and status immunity.

Evolution Line

Cleffa → Clefairy → Clefable (using a Moon Stone). Clefable Mega Evolves with Clefablite into Fairy/Flying Mega Clefable.
