Alcremie in Pokemon Champions: Stats, Best Moveset & How to Get
Alcremie is a deceptively tanky special Fairy-type in Pokemon Champions, built on a huge 121 base Special Defense and a strong 110 Special Attack. With Aroma Veil shutting off Taunt, Encore and Disable for the whole side, it doubles as a Calm Mind win condition and a supportive backbone. This guide covers Alcremie's stats, type matchups, abilities, best moveset, an SP spread, its role in Regulation M-A doubles, and how to get it.
Base Stats
Alcremie's defensive profile is lopsided: 65 HP and 75 Defense are merely okay, but 121 Special Defense is elite, so it walls special attackers far better than physical ones. The 110 Special Attack hits hard for a bulky Pokemon, and at 64 Speed it sits in the slow-to-middling tier, comfortable under Trick Room or behind Tailwind support rather than racing on its own.

Type Matchups
Abilities
- Sweet Veil — prevents Alcremie and its ally from falling asleep, a quiet but valuable counter to Spore, Sleep Powder and Hypnosis in doubles.
- Aroma Veil — protects the whole side from Taunt, Encore, Disable, Torment and Heal Block. This keeps Alcremie's Calm Mind / Recover plan alive against disruption and shields setup partners too.
Best Moveset
Alcremie's pool is built around setup, longevity and support. The standout Regulation M-A options:
Calm Mind win condition
- Calm Mind — raises Special Attack and Special Defense; stacks fast on a Pokemon this bulky.
- Dazzling Gleam — spread Fairy STAB that chips both opposing slots.
- Stored Power — scales with Calm Mind boosts and becomes a nuke after a couple of turns.
- Recover — full recovery to outlast attackers while it sets up.
Bulky support
- Helping Hand — boosts an ally's attack for the turn.
- Light Screen — cuts special damage to the team.
- Encore — locks a foe into a chosen move (note its own Aroma Veil does not block this when used offensively).
- Protect — doubles staple for scouting and stalling.
Other tools include Psychic, Psyshock, Energy Ball, Giga Drain, Drain Punch, Play Rough, Substitute and Tera Blast.
Suggested SP Spread
With the Champions SP system (66 points, max 32 per stat), Alcremie wants HP plus Special Attack for a Calm Mind set, leaning on its naturally enormous Special Defense rather than investing further there. A defensive or SpA-boosting Stat Alignment (lowering Attack or Speed) fits best. Tune the final Level 50 numbers in the PikaChampions team builder.
Competitive Role in Regulation M-A
Alcremie is a slow, sticky special attacker that turns games into setup contests. Aroma Veil neutralises the Taunt and Encore lines that normally punish bulky setup, letting it freely climb Calm Mind and then sweep with Stored Power or click Recover to stall. Its low Speed is a feature in Trick Room, where it can move first while still tanking hits, and its team-wide Sweet Veil and Light Screen support give it value even when it is not the win condition. Pair it with redirection or Fake Out so it can find a free turn to start boosting.
Evolution Line
Milcery → Alcremie (level up while holding a Sweet and spinning the controller). Alcremie does not Mega Evolve.
